Part Time Leadership Role Opportunity Home to some of the biggest thrill rides and coolest waterslides on the planet, Dreamworld present an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Attendant Team Leader to join the team on a Part-Time basis. The Grounds Attendant Team Leader will assist the Grounds Supervisor to successfully implement, maintain and upkeep all garden and landscape areas within the parks, working closely with the team. Applicants must satisfy the following criteria: Demonstrate well developed communication & teamwork skills Possess a high level of energy and physical fitness A current Driver’s License Previous experience within horticulture/landscaping environment Experience in grounds operations Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to motivate team members Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgement. Duties include: Maintaining lawns, gardens and landscaped areas to a high standard. Pruning, weeding and mulching to keep the grounds in excellent condition. Operating garden equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers and blowers. Identifying and addressing any pest and disease issues. Assisting with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems This role is physically demanding, and manual handling is involved. Hours of work will include early morning shifts. Part-time (PT20) positions offer between 20-38hpw and accrue leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis.
