While each day brings variety and new challenges, you will be a highly motivated and reliable individual supporting people with disability through a person-centred approach to ensure quality of life, dignity, respect and inclusion. Our Home and Living supports are based around a 24/7 roster where you will have availability to work a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons and evenings (including sleepovers and active nights shifts). Our Sport and Recreation services involve weekly programs including rugby league, soccer, basketball or tennis during the school term and sporting camps throughout the year during school hours and weekends. Availability to work over a 24-hour rotating roster in alignment with our service offerings Genuine desire to provide care for people with disability Confidence to engage with a diverse range of people Ability to connect with participants and team members to ensure a sense of value and respect An understanding of privacy, confidentiality and treating sensitive information appropriately Qualification in disability/community services highly regarded but not essential To be successful, you will also be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC), Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP) and evidence of at least two (2) doses of a COVID-19 vaccination before commencing. While a current First Aid Certificate is preferred, we offer paid support for you to obtain and maintain a valid certification throughout your career with us.
