531553 Administration Officer Department of Radiation Oncology Calvary Mater Newcastle Fixed Term – Part Time Fixed Term Part-time (64 hours per fortnight, 6 months) Salary Classification: Admin Officer Level 3 Year 1-2. Remuneration: $34.46 - $35.54 per hour superannuation annual leave loading salary packaging options THE ROLE: The Administration Officer is responsible for performing a range of administrative tasks determined by the service needs of the Radiation Oncology Department. The administration officer provides administration support to Front Reception, Billing, New Patient and RT Bookings, Medical Typing and other administration areas to suit the service needs of the Department as directed and rostered by the Business Manager. DUTIES: Provides comprehensive administrative assistance across a broad range of administrative tasks determined by the service needs of the Department directed by the Business Manager; Liaise with clinical, non-clinical and relevant stakeholders efficiently when performing all duties; Ensure accurate and timely data entry and record maintenance; Excellent customer service skills; Ensure confidentiality and appropriate levels of discretion is maintained at all times; Excellent computer literacy including use of Radiation Oncology ARIA data and various patient management systems, Microsoft Office suite, scanning technology, and working knowledge of calendar management systems and email; Provide relief for other administrative staff as required and perform other duties appropriate at the level of responsibilities adhering to the Departments requirements and work expectations to ensure roster coverage at all times; Demonstrate flexibility that meets the changing needs of the Department and work environment.
