We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated High-Intensity Disability Support Worker to provide exceptional support and care. About the Role We’re looking for a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in Petrie. Shifts are available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight for active awake shifts. Our shift times include 9 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 8 AM. You’ll provide support to our customers, in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes or within the community.You’ll assist individuals with various disabilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and help create a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth. If you're dedicated to making a positive impact, come be a part of our team Other responsibilities may include: Assist with daily living activities and provide assistance with personal care. Providing companionship and emotional support. Support community access and engagement activities. Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports. Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
