Contract Until End of June – Government Agency CBD Location – Hybrid Working Arrangement Policy and configuration of Microsoft Defender/Intune The Role This government department requires a Security Endpoint Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Defender to protect our clients’ digital assets and ensuring the integrity of their IT environments. Key Responsibilities: Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint solutions to protect against malware, phishing, and other cyber threats. Monitor and analyse security alerts, incidents, and reports from endpoint protection tools. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure endpoint security best practices are integrated into the overall IT infrastructure. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on endpoints to identify and mitigate security risks. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to endpoint protection. Key Skills: Strong experience working as a Security Engineer or a related role. Strong expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including deployment and management. Knowledge of other endpoint protection tools and cybersecurity frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
