This role has no direct reports, you will be purely responsible for all things Java / Kafka related as my client takes their product offering overseas. Day to day Build robust & scalable event driven microservices using Java & Kafka Drive the adoption of pub sub & messaging systems to enable real time applications Implement secure identity management solutions Coach / mentor all parts of the business around best practice Coach around new solutions / technologies and make suggestions around new processes Promote best practices around coding / DevSecOps / CI/CD Skills Java expert 5 years in AWS environments Expertise in event driven architecture – Ideally Kafka Have implemented and championed modern engineering practices to scale Coach / Influencer / Collaborator Strategic thinker who has been in SaaS / scale up environments This is an exciting opportunity to join a SaaS company as they embark on greenfield initiatives to expand into European markets.
