Level 6 Bachelors (minimum) or Level 7 Masters (preferred) Degree in an engineering discipline, including chemical engineering, flow assurance, mechanical engineering. Chartership, Professional Engineer (PE) status or equivalent relevant professional license/registration from a recognised national or industry engineering institution is desirable. To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience will include: Ability to demonstrate initiative, tenacity and have excellent communication skills Significant experience (typically >10 years) in design and/or operation of subsea or onshore pipeline systems and fully familiar with different elements of the CCS value chain from process to pore Fully familiar with challenges associated with transport of multiphase, hydrocarbon and CO2-rich fluids, including fluid mechanics, phase equilibria and thermodynamics, thermophysical properties of such fluids, chemical interactions, key flow assurance risks and integrity risks Fully familiar with existing fluid modelling tools/ thermodynamic engines e.g. Multiflash or PVTSim (preferably the former) flow assurance modelling tools (OLGA, PIPESIM, LedaFlow, etc) Strong technical writing skills, specifically for issuing project reports to clients and or external parties Ability to assist with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities Wood encourages Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.
