Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Data Centre Projects Salary $140 - $160K MCR is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of data centre projects. In this role, you'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously and manage an exciting pipeline of upcoming work. Job Overview Leading Electrical Design: You will take charge of electrical design for both brownfield and greenfield data centre projects. This involves creating and refining designs that align with clients' needs and project specifications. Client Engagement: Engaging directly with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements. You will present conceptual designs, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet their expectations. Design Oversight: Overseeing the delivery of designs throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure that all designs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Project Management: Coordinating with discipline leads from electrical, and fire protection teams. You will manage project timelines and ensure effective communication and collaboration across all disciplines. Requirements: Essential: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Proven design experience in building services, preferably critical projects such as airports, hopsitals etc Nice to Have: Victorian Professional Engineer status, or on the pathway to achieving it.
