Role Focus: You will take ownership of technical leadership across BESS, solar, and wind systems, ensuring seamless integration and maximum efficiency in renewable energy solutions. You will oversee engineering teams, support project delivery, and provide technical solutions for grid stability and energy storage. Key Responsibilities: Lead power systems engineering across BESS, solar, and wind projects. Ensure the optimal design, integration, and performance of renewable energy systems. Manage project engineering teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery. Provide technical leadership to resolve challenges in power systems and grid integration. Oversee performance analysis and troubleshooting of energy systems. Support the development of technical specifications and engineering solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Implement energy storage strategies to improve grid stability and reliability. Monitor and optimise system performance for continuous improvement. Advise on technical requirements for project scope, cost, and schedule. Manage the technical due diligence process for new projects. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols. Support training and development of engineering staff to foster growth. Identify and implement innovations in renewable energy systems. Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields. At least 8 years of experience in power systems engineering, particularly in renewable energy. Proven expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar, and wind technologies. Strong understanding of grid integration, energy storage, and power system optimisation. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience in the renewable energy industry and knowledge of relevant regulations.
