About the Job As we open more stores, strengthen our online presence and continue to enable our customers to look and feel their best, we have an exciting newly created opportunity for a IT Service Engineer to join for our growing IT team. The role you could play Reporting to the Technology Delivery Manager, you will support the delivery of new technology/hardware into our many retail stores, support centers and distribution centers across Australia and New Zealand. As MECCA continues to grow and expand its store presence, you will manage new store rollouts from planning the requirements, liaising with vendors, and traveling interstate to ensure a smooth installation. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our events team, managing their technical requirements for events and pop-up stores. As we expand out Support Center campus in Richmond you will be part of the team who builds, delivers and maintains state of the art technology offering within the spaces. To help support our team and the Service Desk team, you will be responsible for the creation and upkeep of documentation, asset management and drive process improvements. We’ve recently embarked on a technology transformation and as a result, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in transformation projects with exposure to some of the latest technologies in the market. You will gain the tech exposure and experience that will set you up for your career as you get to work with systems such as Microsoft Entra, AWS/Cloud migration and SCCM across new store rollout and support center projects. What you will bring We are looking for a passionate individual, with strong prioritization and planning skills. Someone who can adapt and work simultaneously on projects, duties and tasks to guarantee timely resolution for the business and a positive customer experience. You will have the ability to work with Services Desk, Retail Stores, and other departments to fulfil their needs and have experience managing external vendors. As a jack of all trades, you will be inquisitive, eager to ask questions as well as communication your concerns. This role involves gathering, analysing, and interpreting data from a variety of sources, developing the "so what" implications, and then translating the findings into actionable insights that will inform strategic decisions. The Insights Strategy Lead works cross-functionally with stakeholders at multiple levels of seniority, ensuring that the insights generated are deeply understood, and that stakeholders are aligned with the strategic direction and implications which will inform our broader business objectives. The Role You Could Play The main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support Strategy Development : Assist the Head of Customer Insights to develop the Customer Strategy and the three Category Strategies (Skincare, Fragrance, Makeup). Data Analysis & Interpretation : Analyze data sets from multiple sources to uncover key trends and customer behaviour that will guide strategic decisions. Provide Actionable Insights : Simplify and communicate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights Insight Communication : Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that key messages are understood and impactful. Strategic Impact Evaluation : Assess the strategic implications of insights, identifying both short-term and long-term opportunities for the business.
