About the team The Credit Card, Fleet, Travel and Insurance Team is part of the Financial and Shared Services Branch within the CFO Division. The team has responsibility for providing the following services to the department: Credit card policy, administration, and support; Overseas travel policy, bookings, and system administration; Domestic Travel policy, support, and advice; Fleet management policy, administration, and support; ComCover Insurance management; Expense8 business support; and Business improvement relating to functions. Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following: Be able and willing to learn quickly and adapt to changing systems and processes. Have good judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills. Be a good communicator, particularly when responding to clients over the phone and via email. Be able to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining strong attention to detail, sometimes within tight deadlines. Be an effective team member that works collaboratively within the section. Be service-oriented, with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships to meet the needs of internal customers and foster collaboration within the CFO Division. What you will do In this role, you will be required to: Prioritise and process high volume credit card tasks such as credit card applications, employee reimbursements, acquittals, policy advice, monitoring compliance etc. Follow-up, action and respond to enquiries over the phone and via email maintaining a strong customer service focus. Identify key issues and refer these to your manager where appropriate. Assist with finding solutions to these issues. Follow relevant policies and procedures, as directed. Engage with internal and external clients as required. Contribute to business process/continuous improvement activities. Contribute to building and maintaining a high performing service delivery culture. Eligibility To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens. Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level. Notes Experience in credit card management and in using expense8, TechnologyOne and Excel is desirable. A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette. The department does currently offer flexible work opportunities for many roles. This vacancy is ACT - Industry House based, although flexible or remote work arrangements may be considered.
