JOBS FOR MOBS An exciting opportunity exists for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Administration Officer, within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Directorate to provide a high level of confidential administrative support for the Manager A&TSI and the wider team as directed. The Administration Officer will coordinate and manage all secretarial and administrative aspects for the office in a professional manner, including preparing rosters, being the primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication, answering routine queries, booking conference rooms, and assisting with the organisation and preparation of documents and meeting material. "Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community" Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Key Responsibilities include: Provide high quality confidential administration and secretarial support to the Manager A&TSI and project team. Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus. Demonstrate an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander inequities, and health issues. Act as a primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing communication. Remuneration value up to $97 656 p.a., comprising salary between $76 963 - $85 591 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3).
