$91,702 - $104,753 15% BDCP up to 15.4% Superannuation Reid - ACT The Role The Directorate Cyber Security Strategy and Program (DCSSP) is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for cyber security, who would like to be part of a team supporting and maintaining cyber security data capabilities across Defence. Your Role as ICT Inventory Database Administrator include: Leading, mentoring and collaborating within a small, multi-disciplinary team; Supporting inventory system operations and sustainment initiatives; Identify and Delivering Continuous improvements for inventory management; Generating innovative and practical solutions to problems in alignment with business outcomes; Prioritising tasks and delivering agreed outcomes in a timely manner with attention to detail; Building and managing strong stakeholder relationships with customers, subject matter experts and providers; Drafting and providing input into briefs and correspondences to high office holders and senior executives; Quality Reviews of ICT Inventory artefacts; and Anticipating and leading the development of inventory management. This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. About our Team Cyber Security Strategy and Program (CSSP) Within the Joint Capability Group (JCG), the Directorate of Cyber Security Strategy and Programs is a small but influential team responsible for delivering the Cyber Security Program, and implementing the enterprise-wide actions from the Defence Cyber Security Strategy. The Directorate of Cyber Security Strategy and Program provides strategic guidance, policy advice and operating principles relating to cybersecurity for Defence. The strategic intent of the Directorate is to enhance Defence's cybersecurity framework and supporting policy. This will enable effective maturity assessment of Defence's cybersecurity capability and in turn, dynamic updates to Defence's Cybersecurity Strategy and Action Plan. Currently the Directorate is responsible for several ICT projects as well as supporting the implementation of the action items stemming from the National Defence Strategy (NDS). Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will: Be able to handle highly sensitive information in accordance with government security requirements; Be able to identify and understand complex data relationships; Diligently and pragmatically deliver results and outcomes; Demonstrate critical thinking skills, be inquisitive and comprehensive analytical skills; Demonstrate understanding of risk, including the development and/or usage of frameworks, governance, and workflows; Have well-developed oral and written communication skills with attention to detail; Have demonstrated experience in team leadership; Be able to work independently and as part of a small, high performing team; and Comprehensive understanding of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) within Defence environments.
