Our Client is seeking a talented Customer Development Manager to join their team and drive exceptional customer service and drive growth and sales in their territory. Key Responsibilities of the Customer Development Manager: Provide effective leadership to the branch operation by promoting a collaborative team environment, empowering staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist in achieving sales and service targets by maintaining industry knowledge, minimising customer churn, and supporting the branch management team. Manage risk by ensuring staff compliance, providing training and guidance, and maintaining quality, safety, and environmental management systems. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and supporting the customer care team. Perform other duties as directed by the Branch Manager. The Ideal Candidate: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in a customer-facing or sales environment. Strong team management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Basic understanding of financial and budgeting processes, as well as the ability to analyse data and reporting. Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and driving continuous improvement. Proficient in oral and written communication, as well as IT skills. Understanding of risk management, including hazard identification and application of safety practices. Passion for meeting and exceeding relevant targets and key performance indicators. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Understanding of the hygiene, pest control, or related service industry. Relevant qualifications in business, sales, or financial management. Experience within the sales or services sector. Knowledge of quality management systems and associated standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
