Traffic Engineering Officer Position Overview: We are looking for Traffic Engineer to join Local council situated in Sydneys CBD who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles within the City’s road network. Key responsibilities will typically include the following: Key accountabilities Traffic Management: Assessing and implementing strategies to improve traffic flow, manage parking, and enhance road safety in compliance with legislative requirements. Data Analysis: Collecting and analysing traffic data to identify issues and enable the development of effective solutions to traffic, parking, and safety concerns. Stakeholder Engagement: Provide clear and timely information and professional advice to internal and external stakeholders (i.e business owners, residents) to support informed decision-making Local Traffic Committee Support : Contribute to the City’s Local Pedestrian, Cycling and Traffic Calming Committee by providing reports and technical support to facilitate effective decision-making.
