What you will enjoy doing This is a hybrid sales role, with a mix of internal responsibilities (customer service, despatch, delivery) plus field sales You will sell the entire range of products and services SCIS has to offer – welding products, hire, service/repairs, etc You will win new and competitor business within the region assigned to this role Identify and quickly close out small wins whilst managing longer, higher value and complex sales cycles In addition, effectively manage an opportunity pipeline to ensure the business is achieving KPI’s and targets You will identify new business initiatives & develop sales strategies that deliver an excellent client journey Work with the BOC Gas Sales Team to help grow gas sales in the existing SCIS customer base & prospects Furthermore, understand the competitive landscape, customer aspirations/objectives, and any other marketplace influences to effectively position the SCIS value proposition Work alongside the Albury team and wider SPW business to positively impact our overall strategy What makes you great You have sound welding products knowledge with a deep understanding of how these products are used Strong negotiation and influencing skills are required for this role Understanding of the principles of price and margin management Your demonstrable ability to build and maintain an opportunity pipeline Work collaboratively to build good working relationships across our customer base and the SCIS Albury team Results driven mindset - ability to take on the personal challenge of driving and delivering business results & outcomes Why you will love working with us Thinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, deliver great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.
