ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader, Lease Administration to lead a national team of Lease Administration Managers on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the lease administration process for a portfolio of retail assets, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and delivering high-quality outcomes. This is an opportunity to guide a high-performing team and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems in a dynamic environment. DUTIES Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of a national team of Lease Administration Managers. Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and finalisation of lease documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and retail legislation. Collaborate with external solicitors, leasing executives, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex lease negotiations. Monitor and implement legislative updates, adjusting processes and precedents accordingly. Develop and execute strategies to improve systems, processes, and team collaboration. Ensure all lease documentation and compliance requirements align with risk management protocols. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5-7 years of senior lease administration or legal experience, with proven leadership of small to medium teams. In-depth knowledge of retail legislation across Australia and contract principles. Strong negotiation, multi-tasking, and prioritisation skills, with a track record of managing complex lease negotiations. Experience developing and reviewing precedent documents. Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
