Due to growth and project wins, Jacobs is seeking Senior Civil Engineers to join our dynamic Roads and Highways team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in infrastructure design and project delivery across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing expert engineering services and technical leadership. Your responsibilities will encompass working closely with Associate and Principal Engineers to drive project delivery, design management, and strategic project positioning. You will be instrumental in developing and winning diverse infrastructure projects that showcase Jacobs' engineering excellence. The successful candidate will collaborate with commercial, project management, and technical leaders to create and expand opportunities for Jacobs. You will be responsible for supporting team development, building design capabilities, and growing our professional portfolio. A key aspect of this role involves interfacing with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) centres to enhance delivery capabilities and deepen understanding of civil engineering principles. Your professional expertise will be critical in mentoring and developing Graduate Engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth. You will be expected to attend client meetings, maintain and nurture client relationships, and represent the transport team with professionalism and technical acumen. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of project scopes, excellent time management skills, and the ability to balance deliverables effectively. You will work closely with team and section leaders, maintaining open communication and proactively managing workload and capabilities.
