The Engineering and Technology (E&T) branch is seeking a motivated Cadet Engineering Technician. In this role you will be required to undertake material testing in line with departmental standards, Australian Standards and other well recognised test methodology. You will be required to undertake study in line with your requirements of your role, this study will be supported by the department through the Study and Research Assistance Scheme (SARAS). Some of your responsibilities will include:- Perform materials testing procedures under supervision in accordance with departmental standards, specifications, policies and procedures.- Assist with field investigation and research projects using project management principles.- Assist in the analysis of test data and the drafting and preparation of technical reports.- Participate in all prescribed training and development opportunities required.
