About our team The Australian Border Force (ABF) College comprises of seven faculties; College Coordination Unit, Compliance, Investigations & Trade Faculty, Foundational Capability Faculty, Leadership & Learning Modernisation Faculty, Marine, Maritime & Littoral Faculty, Operational Safety Training Unit. The Marine, Maritime & Littoral Faculty designs, develops and delivers an integrated curriculum of specialist vocational training to enable frontline officers deployed to the Maritime domain to undertake their role safely, legally and effectively. The faculty has two delivery streams, Marine & Maritime. The Faculty also manages an international training curriculum which is specifically designed to build the capacity of Civil Maritime Security Agencies in the region. Specialist training programs promote Australia's international interests to support security and prosperity. Previous administration experience is preferred along with the use of workplace applications such as MS Word and MS Excel. As a member of the ABF College, you are expected to act with professionalism and diligence in accordance with the APS Core Values & Code of Conduct. You are required to treat people with respect and value individual differences. You must maintain corporate compliance obligations including mandatory online learning and timely submission of reports and acquittals via the EasySAP portal. Duties and responsibilities Coordination and execution of multiple training programs and events Human Resource management for MTOCP Cadets including on-boarding and final placements Faculty logistics including student travel bookings in with the Departmental policy, booking and paying of invoices for training events and resources and facility management Management of training and office resources, including assisting and maintaining accurate training records in the Learning Management System, submitting weekly reports in line with MMLF's governance framework Supporting collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across operations, planning, policy and governance roles. Additional information Mandatory Ability to obtain and maintain a current driver's license Ability to undertake interstate travel and work extended hours to support training activities. Desirable Previous experience in supporting training delivery Previous experience in administration or governance.
