Golding is seeking an experienced SHET Administration Officer to work as part of the Safety team. This position is ideally located in Brisbane, however, we would also consider someone living in Rockhampton, Emerald or Blackwater. The primary purpose of this role is to provide efficient administration support to the Safety team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Safety, proficiency in Microsoft Office, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to manage a high workload. A proactive, organized approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for success in this position. On-site experience in a civil or mining environment is highly desirable. This role operates on a Monday to Friday 5/2 roster, as we are flexible, part time options will also be considered. Camp accommodation is provided should it be required. Key Responsibilities: Organize and file SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) records as per GMS guidelines and instructions from the SHET Superintendent Input SHE data into Golding and client systems following the SHET Superintendent's requirements Manage the site PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) inventory, ensuring it remains at the authorized level Facilitate and manage site Journey Management Plans where required Assist the safety team in the preparation of safety documentation including risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements, toolbox talks Set up and sustain current document control processes Record and maintain safety data in Golding and client systems, ensuring proper filing of safety records Oversee the site PPE inventory, maintaining it at the authorized level Maintain and monitor SHET registers, databases and schedules; Actively contribute to site safety, quality assurance, and environmental goals.
