Our Clients are seeking a qualified Agriculture and Primary Industries teacher, for a full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025. This position also acts as the Cattle Team Coordinator. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge of the NESA Stage 6 Agriculture and Stage 5 Agriculture Technology syllabuses along with the Teaching of Primary Industries in Year 11 and 12. Secondary Agriculture and Primary Industries Teacher: Expertise in the Agriculture and Primary Industries syllabus Differentiate curriculum to meet diverse student needs Support the school's Wellbeing program and mentor groups Adhere to assessment schedules and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching Provide support to all students, regardless of ability Collaborate with faculty on teaching, assessment, and programming Perform duties to the highest standard and follow instructions Participate in training, meetings, and comply with the school's Code of Conduct Cattle Team Coordinator: Manage and mentor the cattle team, preparing students for competitions Foster teamwork, leadership, and livestock care skills Coordinate logistics for shows and events, including transportation and registration Conduct risk assessments and perform stock takes at term's end Qualifications: Valid Working with Children Check First Aid Certification Current Driver's License Bus License (desirable) Relevant NSW teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation Qualifications in Primary Industries (NSW-specific) Understanding of AITSL teaching standards Capability to teach Stage 6 Agriculture and Primary Industries syllabi (with current accreditation and willingness to maintain it) Ability to teach Stage 5 Agriculture Technology Proficiency in delivering the Mandatory Technology syllabus Willingness and ability to teach Stage 4 Technology and Stock Appraisal To apply online, please click on the apply button.
