Role Overview Reporting to the Principal Engineer, the Lead Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, analysing, and optimising process systems across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities Provide process engineering services across Concept Select, Define, FEED, and Detailed Design phases. Conduct advanced process calculations, including steady-state and dynamic process simulation modelling. Prepare essential process engineering deliverables, such as P&IDs, PFDs, and heat/material balance sheets. Lead and mentor a small team of process engineers, ensuring high-quality outcomes are achieved on time and within budget. About You Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Chartered Engineer or RPEQ certification. Demonstrated experience leading process engineering teams on mid-scale greenfield and brownfield projects, including Concept Studies, FEED, and Detailed Design. Committed to remaining involved in the technical design aspects of process engineering. Solid knowledge of relevant process engineering theories, codes, and standards. Proven design engineering experience in the Hydrocarbon, Petrochemical, or Water industries. Expertise in HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL studies as the Lead Process Engineer. Proficiency in industry-standard software, including HYSYS or Unisim.
