About the role National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for an Administrative Support Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage. This Administration Support Officer works within the Capability and Training Unit under the Fire and Incident Operations Branch. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide project and administrative support to the Manager, Team Leaders and trainers of the Unit in the provision of firefighting and other operational training courses. Key tasks include calendar coordination, event planning, minute taking, records management and first point of contact for enquiries. The Capability and Training Unit is a spread across NSW, so the Administration Support Officer is the glue that keeps our team connected. There will be times when additional paid hours may be required to meet key deadlines or project milestones. There may also be a requirement to travel to support work in alternate work locations.
