You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday). About this work area As Showroom Sales Assistant (Kitchen Planning) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding that you impact our customer’s experience by being able to offer solutions and answer questions that relate to their kitchen and home furnishing needs. • Actively approach customers to identify their needs by asking insightful questions and advising them on the best kitchen solutions for them. • Supporting customers with their kitchen design process using the kitchen planning 3D rendering software and accessory workshop. You will build strong relationships with the customer throughout their planning journey. • Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced. • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. • Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits. As Showroom Sales Assistant (Livingroom) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Approach arriving and browsing customers. Identify their overall need to support them in the best way by asking the right questions. • Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth. • Prepare product presentation and secure merchandising basics. Ensure all customer material and digital solutions are ready to use - to give customers a positive shopping experience. • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. • Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits. As Showroom Sales Assistant you are or have: • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within the furniture, colour consulting or high-value items retail industry. • Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers. • A strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience. • An authentic approach in generating sales, whilst maintaining a professional, self-motivated attitude towards meeting sales targets and KPIs. • Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills. • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment. • Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range and tools. • A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
