Key responsibilities:- Undertake accurate computer-based processing and data entry using QCAT's file management systems and recording programs.- Prepare and update documents using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.- Effectively and efficiently manage the needs of clients and the general public by using appropriate questioning, problem solving, negotiation and conflict management skills.- Prioritise tasks in a fast paced and high-volume environment to ensure customer service standards and timeframes are met, and to ensure effective hearing support services are provided.- Provide accurate information to registry staff and Tribunal members in a professional and friendly manner.- Provide general administrative tasks as required by Team Leaders and/or Managers to support the delivery of services within QCAT. Technical skills, abilities, and cultural capability:- Intermediate skill in computer applications (Microsoft Office suite) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.- Performs repetitive work according to set procedures.- Completes workload within established timeframes and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.- Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with co-workers, stakeholder, and the public.- Speaks effectively with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.- Contributes to workplace equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion that enriches our culture of response and inclusion.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
