The Role Toll People are currently seeking an experienced HC Heavy Haulage Driver for our client based in Port Kembla. Drivers will be responsible for the transportation of oversize, over-mass product, therefore will be expected to have a strong focus on safety and compliance . Experience operating floats/low loaders is essential. This is a casual position currently offering 5 shifts per week, $45.41 per hour (shift penalties may apply). Drivers with open/flexible availability will be highly considered, as shifts will vary (AM and PM shifts). Key Responsibilities Transportation of oversize, over-mass product Ensure correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles Carry out all duties within set time frames and following all instructions Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Skills & Experience HC licence (minimum 2 years' experience) Experience operating floats / low loader (minimum 2 years' experience) Good understanding of road curfews, load restraint and COR and NHVAS Previous steel-handling experience is advantageous, but not essential Must be flexible with roster/availability Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills About Toll People​​​​​​​ Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
