Implement and manage Azure cloud solutions, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS) Design, build, and upgrade server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability Deploy and administer and maintain Hyper-V environments, optimising virtualisation solutions for scalability and efficiency Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure migrations to Azure cloud platforms Support and manage Microsoft applications and services including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, Group policy Managing and maintaining on-premises servers, computer infrastructure, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V), Enterprise storage, and backups (Veeam) Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. Works closely with internal IT teams to provide technical insight and contribution in the development of infrastructure, operations & automation Prioritises workload, while helping and supporting colleagues as needed. Managing security findings/remediation Maintaining monitoring, alerting, and responsiveness of addressing alerts and issues. Bring existing industry knowledge and best practices to implement and improve the Infrastructure Environment Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field. Proven experience with Azure. Experience in Microsoft Server Technologies Experience in backup technologies Previous Experience Minimum 2-year experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer Strong infrastructure background Experience in collaborating with IT teams resulting in improvement in processes and automation. Expertise in server builds, upgrades and maintenance Experience in Server Backups Skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management Experience with Intune. What’s in it for you?
