Our ING Lounge is here to help, and we’re looking for a passionate person who wants to simplify banking and empower our customers to “do their thing” We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to be a part of our ING Lounge team in their quest to drive the business forward across all things lending, banking, and customer service. This role is important in managing our customers’ experience, for all enquiries and fulfilment on Savings, Mortgages and Payment products. You’ll be servicing both new and existing customers as part of a fun and dynamic team This position is a 6 month secondment. Our Lounge is located on 60 Margaret Street which is open from Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 5pm. What you’ll do Manage walk-in customers and attend to a diverse range of enquiries. Understand customer needs, budgets, and lifestyles so you can identify banking opportunities. Convert customer walk-ins and drive own traffic/appointments. Provide vital support to customers in times of need. Minimise and resolve customer complaints. What you’ll bring Prior experience in a customer facing banking role (branch or contact centre). Great organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to offer a positive experience to every customer. The ability to learn new technology and products. Flexibility to work and adapt to different situations and challenging environments. The ability to be resilient through proven experience and work reliably in a team.
