About the role The role of the Administrative Officer is to provide effective and efficient customer/administrative services within the Metro North Kidney Health Service. This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and other members of multidisciplinary teams. This position may operate across numerous Metro North HHS sites including, but not limited to, RBWH, Keperra, Nundah, Stafford, TPCH, North Lakes, Redcliffe, Kallangur, Caboolture, and Bribie Island. About you This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Metro North Hospital and Health Service's core values. Achieve work targets with limited supervision and contribute to team goals in an ever-changing environment. Accurately view, record, and retrieve information from Queensland Health and Microsoft Office systems including ESM, HBCIS, Outlook, ieMR, The Viewer, Telstra TIMS, Microsoft Word/Excel, database applications and Telehealth Virtual Clinic. Responsible for the daily Outpatient/Inpatient bookings and high-quality administrative duties required of the site required. Management of all patient appointments including appointment offers, follow-up reviews, rescheduling and cancellations in conjunction with the Medical, Allied, Nursing staff and ESM policies. Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relations with team members, clients, and stakeholders Multitask priorities in a constantly changing team environment, you are required to proactively plan, organise, and manage own time effectively to produce results and meet deadlines.
