Immediate Start View to Permanency Townsville, QLD Overview An amazing opportunity to join the aviation industry - our client is looking for able and enthusiastic Airport Customer service & Ramp Staff to join their friendly team. Location: Townsville, QLD Pay Rate: $30 to $33 p/h Super Penalties Roles: Airport Customer Service Duties will include but not be limited to: Greeting customers with a smile at check-in Processing and checking travel documents meet requirements Assigning seats on the aircraft Preparing and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers Gate boarding Passenger Marshalling Disruption Management Criteria: Impeccable grooming and deportment. High proficiency in spoken and written English. Proficient computer skills. Pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months employment). Capable of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months employment). Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas. Ability to work any shift from 05:00am to 11:00pm. Commit to shift lengths of 4 hours per day. Available for 2 weeks' full-time training. Airport Ramp Staff Duties will include: Bag Room functions: scanning and manual handling luggage. Loading / unloading baggage & freight. Aircraft Receipt & Dispatch. Operating Ground Service Equipment on Ramp. Criteria: Open Australian Driver's License (no restrictions) ASIC Card or willingness to obtain Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas. Ability to work any shift from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM Commit to shift lengths between 4 - 8 hour shifts Available for 2 - week full-time training (Monday - Friday) Please note that due to the nature of this work we unfortunately can NOT accept student VISAs (Subclass 500).
