Doors Plus is a family-owned company established in 1989. We currently have 23 stores located across Australia and are the largest seller of retail doors in the country. We are well known for our No Fuss brand and are considered an industry leader in the home renovation door market. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives while maintaining superior customer service levels through effective management of sales staff. Success is monitored through the achievement of growing sales and improving customer satisfaction (all underpinned by training/coaching and consistent feedback). This role is crucial to the continual improvement and growth of our brand and will suit a person who loves a challenge and is driven to achieve. About The Role: Drive team performance improvements in retail operations to promote sales and gross margins at store level. Co-ordinate and coach team leaders, profit partners, and venture partners. Manage and assist all stores with focusing on specific key performance indicators to measure and improve the performance of the business. Remain on call to support stores with any queries, including but not limited to general issues, sales, HR, escalated issues etc. Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure the continual growth of sales, standards, and service in all stores. Manage all customer contact points prior to sale, including Web enquiries and customer reviews. Manage financial performance of stores including budget review. This role will require interstate travel. About You: Demonstrate ability in organising and leading a team , performance management, selling skills, visual merchandising, operational routines, stock management, IT systems. Strong mentoring and coaching leadership style to promote, motivate, and build a high performing culture. Ability to understand national budgets, strong business acumen , with a mindset to continuously improve operations and to drive the team to achieve targets. High attention to detail and able to problem solve, negotiate and influence to resolve issues, and think on your feet to deliver the best outcome to your team and customer. Able to work autonomously and also be a team player who is flexible and adaptable. Confident communication skills , both written and verbal, intermediate ability in computer skills, including Microsoft suite, with excellent professional presentation. Education: Holding a degree in business administration/management and experience in the home renovation sector or strong retail background, will be highly regarded. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a National Sales Management role with a proven track record of success having delivered sales budgets and managing high performance teams.
