We’re looking for a Principal Engineer to join us and help shape our technical direction as we continue to grow. In this role, you’ll get to work on driving our loyalty program, building our eCommerce capabilities, creating secure and frictionless checkout experiences and more features we offer for our customers on the My 7-Eleven app. You’ll be part of developing our technical roadmap and will collaborate with product owners, user researchers, domain architects, and software engineers to make a real impact on our product journey. Identify inefficiencies on the software development flow and fix them. Write secure, reliable, and maintainable code that’s well-tested. Contribute to documentation, code reviews, tackle complex bugs with security, performance and reliability in mind. Share your knowledge, helping your teammates grow and level up their skills. Help identify and remove obstacles that might get in the way of building high-quality software Collaborate on and contribute to the technical roadmap, helping to prioritise initiatives based on business impact. About you: Background in PHP, Java, .NET, React, React Native and modern software development tools. Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services and how to make the most of them. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience building relationships, negotiating, and influencing others to get things done.
