Reporting to the DevOps Lead and working alongside other DevOps team members, this role collaborates with Architects, Engineers, QA, and IT teams to optimize and automate build, test, and deployment workflows. The role will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by actively participating in team initiatives, sharing knowledge with peers, and implementing best practices in DevOps methodologies. Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated, secure, and reliable deployments across cloud and hosted infrastructure environments. Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for efficient application provisioning and infrastructure modification, using reference architectures. Collaborate with software engineers to address DevOps-related issues, participate in problem-solving efforts, and contribute to overall system efficiency and performance. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Internal Developer Platform, focusing on streamlining application provisioning, service discovery, and developer workflows. Support and implement containerization strategies, continuously improving application deployment and management processes. Engage with software teams to gather feedback, enhance existing automations, and share knowledge of DevOps best practices and security measures. Implement and optimize SDLC processes, integrating security measures throughout the lifecycle and promoting a security-first mindset in daily operations. Essential Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture , with hands-on experience in implementing and managing PaaS and cloud-native resources in secure, scalable environments. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management. Expertise in CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, Octopus, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket, with the ability to design and implement efficient pipelines. Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools like Terraform or Azure Bicep to automate cloud resource provisioning and management. Practical experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, AKS, EKS), including deployment and management of containerized applications. Knowledge of microservices architectures and best practices for ensuring scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance in distributed systems. Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including security measures in IaC and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with or exposure to observability platforms (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting is highly desirable. Basic scripting and coding skills, with the ability to write and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, C#, JS).
