pOSITION Summary The Key Account Coordinator - Bunnings is focused on supporting the Key Account Manager to exceed revenue targets. They understand the key account and are developing product & category knowledge, support their team members to deliver initiatives that exceed the agreed objectives in line with the AMES growth strategy. The Key Account Coordinator - Bunnings · Develops and maintains solid relationships with key stakeholders of Bunnings · Works with own and cross-functional team to develop to deliver Key Account activities for AMES that deliver the company’s vision and strategy and support the overall Sales strategy. · Supports the Key Account category in line with the AMES growth strategy. · Manages self to ensure they perform their duties optimally and align with AMES values and policies. key responsibilities 1. Assist in the delivery and implementation of the National Sales Strategy for Bunnings You are responsible to ensure that you: · Support the Field Sales Managers to execute new ranges and merchandising to plan, delivering on customer expectations to meet and exceed sales and GP targets · Maintain strong internal relationships with other functional areas such as Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory, IT and Finance, to successfully coordinate and deliver sales strategies · Identify areas of enhancement and execute through to completion 2. Establishing and maintaining support for the National Account Manager You are responsible to ensure that you: · Work closely with the National Key Account Manager to develop proactive partnerships with Bunnings Stakeholders · In conjunction with the National Key Account Manager ensure Bunnings orders are processed to maximise warehouse efficiencies · Assist in the preparation and execution of new product initiatives and major range reviews · Ensure sales and operational reports are utilised to maximise sales, margin and inventory · Assist in the implementation of national account initiatives · Provide support in the maintenance and development of a nationally consistent pricing policy · Contribute to the implementation of category management principles · Assist in the collation/manipulation of data from national accounts · Support the National Key Account Manager and Bunnings stakeholders by delivering an exceptional standard of customer service whilst seamlessly managing any issues that arise 3. Ensure you make a valuable contribution to Key Projects You are responsible to ensure that you: · Manage projects as allocated which contribute to sales and GP targets, and growing our market share in the category · Supervise, challenge and compile SSA, to maximise GP · Contribute to Range Reviews, particularly BLGs · Organise Promotional & Seasonal Product Programs · Manage activities related to Sales & Marketing events · Support Account Managers with Team and customer training when required. 4. Preparation of, contribution to and communication of new products, promotions, events and local marketing initiatives You are responsible to ensure that you: · Coordinate and submit all new product item uploads in Bunnings system (including item template, F&B summary, GS1, website upload, marketing forms and images) · Organise all promotional/new product allocations to Bunnings and the Field Sales Team · Develop product information and selling aids to assist the Field Sales Team · Manage the sell in and sell out of ranges as they crossover · Develop, execute and report on monthly sales challenges · Proactively develop and coordinate any promotions, marketing initiatives and workshops including annual trade events and exhibitions to meet and exceed customer requirements and maximise sales · In conjunction with the National Account Manager, liaise with the Merchandise (Product) Development and Design Team to design promotional collateral 5. Build and maintain professional relationships with all customers and internal stakeholders You are responsible to ensure that you: · Build strong network with other members of the Key Account Co-ordinators to ensure effective business management nationally across the Bunnings account · Build a solid understanding of Bunnings and maintain key relationships with key stakeholders and key influencers · Establish a rhythm to gain a high level of product and company knowledge · Work in conjunction with other Sales Team members and Managers of Bunnings to understand opportunities and trends · Monitor, report and analyse competitor activity · Increase knowledge internally by reporting on activity and providing opportunity gaps GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES · Contribute to a team culture that is obsessed with exceeding customers’ expectation which places them at the centre of everything we do · Understand the market and market dynamics to provide insights that offer new opportunities. · Spend adequate time in the field, visiting stores on an ad hoc basis & also with sales representatives · Attend & contribute to Sales and Operations meetings as required · Understand and utilise all AMES Principles · Remain up to date with all new procedures and ensure that all internal policies and processes are adhered to · Conduct business in line with all company Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety Policies and Procedures · Any ad-hoc requests from Sales or Executive Management STRUCTURE AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS · Reporting Line : National Key Account Manager – Bunnings · Internal Stakeholders : Sales Team (whole), Product Team, Operations/Manufacturing, Design, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and wider AMES Team. · External Stakeholders : Customer (Bunnings)
