Reporting to the National Card Manager, this will initially be a 12-month contract, with the possibility of review for a transition to a full-time role afterward. The ideal location for this role is Hamilton, Queensland, although other locations in Australia may also be considered. This role will be responsible for the growth and marketing of the StarCard program to prospective customers. In addition, provide support to the retention and growth of existing StarCard customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Follow up and conversion of all StarCard leads and opportunities generated by marketing activites, retail, alliances and 3rd parties. - Follow up of customer applications that have not completed the full sales journey for conversion - Source new business opportunities for StarCard via attendance at merchant locations, events and trade shows. - Ensure lead and opportunity conversion meets targeted requirements. - Negotiate and finalise customer offers and agreements within authorized limits - Staying informed about competitors, market dynamics, and product trends. - Working collaboratively within the StarCard team to sure seamless implementation of new customers with WEX. - Ensuring that all sales activities, including lead conversions and opportunities, are documented in a database and reported weekly against sales targets. - Being prepared to travel both inter- and intrastate on short notice about you We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people.
