If you are curious & creative, invested in not only your own success but also the growth of others, and believe in building the Great Australian Food Company, then you might be the one for us About the role We are looking for a night shift people leader to join our Wetherill Park Warehouse team and make a real difference You will manage the team and escalation if required to meet business needs whilst maximising efficiency and minimising costs. You will direct warehouse operators to ensure that operational tasks within the Distribution Centre are completed safely and in accordance with established procedures to the satisfaction of external and internal customers. Part of the job will also be Cycle count, Bin count, Outbound conformance, along with filling in Data in shift reports time to time. Responsibilities Lead the team and supervise transportation, distribution, picking and logistic of our products. Supporting operation management and change management Responsible for dispatching, receiving trucks on time to keep the operation going; as well as manage safety incidents, investigation and reporting. Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities and translate to action Ensure that safe work practices are followed by warehouse operators at all times About you Supervisory/leading hand experience within a warehouse role with strong People focus and the desire to build strong “teamwork” Experience in risk management, identifying and eliminating risks, with the ability to multitask Strong verbal & written communication & customer service skills Ability to build and support a positive Safety and Wellbeing Culture Sound knowledge of computer systems (M3/Intelex/SAP/EXCEL) The Bega Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
