The Role: Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a MC Driver for Shuttle runs to & from Cairns, Mareeba, Townsville, Mackay, based from our Innisfail depot. You will join a long standing, close knit and supportive team. As a casual, you will be flexible and able to work weekends and cover annual leave. There is plenty of work to keep you busy and earning well. Duties you can expect with this role include: Working with temperature sensitive produce for interstate runs Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists About the requirements: The candidates we are looking for will have: Have a current & valid MC licence as a minimum Experience driving B-doubles Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills. Have a strong customer focus. Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. A commitment to workplace health and safety Be well presented, professional and reliable. To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current traffic print out Be willing to work weekend roster & be flexible with start & finish times Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
