About us: Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol-related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchment in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area. Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act 2016 and is the location of the Acute Adult Inpatient facilities. About the role: To deliver efficient and confidential business and administrative support to the Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service team, to ensure optimal delivery of clinical services. Comprehensive skills and experience in providing a broad range of administrative and business support services to a multi-disciplinary team. Perform general administrative duties including, but not limited to; manage generic email and calendar accounts, booking appointments and re-scheduling of cancelled appointments, management of referrals, registering, revenue and Medicare billing forms in accordance with financial policies. To be flexible in managing work load according to urgent and immediate tasks to achieve organisational/team goals to meet conflicting deadlines. About you: Effective team skills with the foresight to understand and respond to consumers and staff needs. High level of experience in Microsoft Office and ability to operate a range of software programs demonstrating a high degree of accuracy. High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, able to succinctly convey information. To deliver efficient and confidential frontline business and administrative support to a Mental Health and/or Alcohol and Other Drugs team.
