About the Role As an Automotive Electrician at Tanami, you will be required to operate out of our underground workshop. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the maintenance, repair, and associated tasks on surface and underground light vehicles, mobile mining, and ancillary equipment, all under the guidance of the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical systems on heavy mobile equipment Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment Assist with installation and commissioning of new electrical components Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken About You Trade qualified Auto Electrician with experience in a mining or heavy equipment environment Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electronics and hydraulics used in mining equipment Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Working Conditions This position requires the successful candidate to work an 8:6 rotating roster, with points of hire available from Perth, Alice Springs, Darwin, or Brisbane.
