Role Overview: We seek a technically proficient Site Managers with a strong background in commercial construction to oversee multiple projects across the Melbourne metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification and at least four years of site management experience. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate construction projects of varying scales, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Team Supervision: Oversee on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Site Inductions: Conduct comprehensive site inductions for all staff and subcontractors to ensure safety protocols and project requirements are communicated. Client Liaison: Serve as the clients' primary on-site point of contact, addressing inquiries and providing regular progress updates. Technical Interpretation: Accurately interpret and implement site drawings and specifications to guide construction activities. Hands-On Assistance: When necessary, engage directly in construction tasks to ensure project milestones are achieved before handover. Qualifications and Experience: Trade Qualification: Possession of a construction trade qualification is highly desirable. Experience: At least four years experience in site management within the commercial construction sector, focusing on insurance-related projects. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of building structures, with the ability to interpret complex site drawings and specifications. Multi-Trade Coordination: Proven experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors concurrently on active construction sites. OHS Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to upholding Occupational Health and Safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
