Toll People are looking for highly motivated casual afternoon warehouse team leader for our warehouse in Penfield. This role includes leading a small team of warehouse workers from 2PM-9:30PM Monday to Friday. Our warehouse is fully air-conditioned year-round, providing a comfortable and climate-controlled environment to ensure the well-being of our team members throughout all seasons. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Manage inventory and maintain a high standard of stock control. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Implement safety and quality standards within the warehouse. Provide training, development, and guidance to team members. Perform forklift operations and assist with manual handling when required. Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during the shift. Skills & Experience Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Valid forklift license and relevant operating experience. Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and commitment to compliance within the transport and logistics sector. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. A proactive and hands-on approach to management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
