The Opportunity Our industry leading M&A practice group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join them on a full-time basis in Sydney. This is great opportunity for a Legal Assistant who is looking to take the next step in their career. Join our Sydney M&A team and play an integral role supporting Partners Nicole Pedler and Amelia Morgan. Your day-to-day will involve: Managing billing processes for your direct team including clients with specific and more complex billing and administration requirements. Assisting with meeting and event preparation. Coaching and mentoring team Administrative Assistants. Assisting with the team’s business development needs. Coordinating and managing a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables. Managing Partners' internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management. Skills & experience: The successful candidate will have a passion for working collaboratively within a team, a proactive approach to delivering your work and strong attention to detail. You will also have: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant. Previous billing experience is essential. Ability to anticipate Partner requirements to reduce administrative time. The ability to work at least four days in the office. Previous matter management experience. Strong time management and organisational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
