Our supports have a strong focus on building independent living skills as well as increasing participants' social connections through involvement in community activities and employment. Operating over a 24/7 period, our shifts span across the day, afternoon and night which will require you to have availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts to fulfil the needs of our services. What we are looking for: Genuine desire to provide high level care for people with disability Ability to enable inclusion for people with disability Excellent communication and computer skills Demonstrated awareness of disability Creativity to promote and support community contribution Working with Children's Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate displaying 2 vaccinations Current driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle Flexible availability to work across a 24/7 roster To be successful in the role, you will also be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC), and evidence of at least two (2) doses of a COVID-19 vaccination before commencing. While a current First Aid Certificate is preferred, we offer paid support for you to obtain and maintain a valid certification throughout your career with us. We also require a copy of your NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You’ certificate as part of your probity documentation. This is an industry requirement and is transferable.
