The Role & Team We have an exciting opportunity for a visionary Digital Designer to join our dynamic Retail Training and Development team In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented group of five, forming Specsavers' powerhouse for digital design, video, virtual reality, podcasts, and beyond. This role will be responsible for developing engaging and innovative digital learning resources and projects. You will be expected to manage the end-to-end design process, from written briefs and rough storyboards into final products for our retail store teams. This is a varied position that will see you partner with internal stakeholders and our Retail Training & Development Design Team to deliver the best-in-class, interactive learning resources that are engaging and user friendly. Our successful candidate will be enthusiastic and user-focussed; someone who thrives on building strong stakeholder relationships and producing high-quality work. What we are looking for Extensive experience working in digital design Experience in rapid authoring eLearning tools such as Articulate 360 or Chameleon Ability to create interactive learning materials or solutions, either using authoring tools or programming languages Prior experience working with external clients in an agency environment and/or stakeholders in an in-house corporate environment Strong creative thinker, with the ability to challenge and question the status quo Highly proficient in design using Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Demonstrated experience in creating immersive XR content such as virtual reality and augmented reality is highly desirable eg Unity, Blender User-centric designer with the ability to create high quality work to tight deadlines Tertiary (TAFE) qualifications in Multimedia, Digital or Graphic Design equivalent Experience using both Mac and Windows software Desired but not a must: video production ability, including shoot, edit and animation skills (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects) How to Apply We would love to see your CV and a portfolio showing your relevant work experiences Please note, will be reviewing applications as they come through, so please don’t wait to apply About Us Specsavers are rated the market leader for eye tests, the retailer of choice for contact lenses and one of the fastest growing hearing providers in Australia and New Zealand.
