The hours of the role are Monday to Friday, approximately 9am - 5pm with occasional Saturday mornings (up to 4 hours, maximum once a month). In this position, your key responsibilities will include: Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries. Counter sales including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set. Actioning customer requests and enquiries face-to-face, over the phone and via email. Liaising with suppliers and creating purchase orders. Responsibility for managing key accounts. Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and requests as required What you’ll need to succeed: You have a solid background in customer service, preferably within a wholesale environment, though we also welcome candidates with strong retail sales experience. Some experience within the electrical wholesale industry or related industries (construction, industrial supply, solar, security, plumbing). You are a fast learner with the ability to build product knowledge quickly Hardworking and driven, you are eager to advance your career within the company. You have exceptional people skills and communication abilities, and you are able to communicate with a wide range of individuals. A true team player, you’re ready to jump in and help wherever needed. You have full Australian working rights with no restrictions –Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
