Early Childhood Teacher – Teacher in Charge Hourly Rate: $34.02 to $58.96 (rate dependent on years of experience and validation level) Closing: Friday 24 January 2025 Part Time (32 hrs p/w) – Permanent Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking a Bachelor qualified educator for Colliver Rd Kindergarten 3/4 Year Old Kindergarten program for 2025. This role is 4 days a week, Monday Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during school terms, 8 hours per day and incorporates contact and non – contact time. This role is ongoing with hours reviewed annually and adjusted based on current bookings. We are seeking an educator who will be able to support the service in providing a play based, education and care program designed to develop and foster children’s confidence, a sense of belonging, a love of learning and community connectedness. The successful applicant will be able to provide a warm, safe, stimulating environment for the children that assists them to make a smooth transition from home to the service; who can work together to maintain and provide a high quality program and support that incorporates the families beliefs and culture, as well as supports a team of educators professional development. Our program has a strong focus of connecting with our local community, sustainability, exploration of our natural environment and allowing our children the time to immerse themselves in uninterrupted play. Applicants must hold the following qualifications/certificates: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or equivalent recognised by ACECQA Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation Criminal History Check (valid within six months). Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration OR Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
