We’re looking for a Disability Support Worker to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities About the Role We have casual and part-time opportunities available for Disability Support Workers to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. These roles are based in Bli Bli and Landsborough, providing support to individuals with varying needs in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and out in the community. Support is provided around the clock, with shifts primarily available for mornings, sleepovers, and active awake shifts. You’ll assist individuals with various disabilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and help create a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth. If you're dedicated to making a positive impact, come be a part of our team Other responsibilities may include: Assisting with or prompting personal care. Supporting household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. Provide companionship and emotional support. Facilitating community access and engagement activities. Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies to encourage positive behaviors. Keep accurate records, including progress notes and incident reports.
