Disability Support Worker in the Riverland (Cadell) Are you passionate about supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and helping them develop life skills and social connections? Enhanced Lifestyles is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide personalised assistance to a family with three young adults living with autism near the township of Cadell. At Enhanced Lifestyles, we refer to our disability support workers as Lifestyle Attendants—a term that reflects our customer-centred approach and the independence of our customers in managing their lifestyles. Whether supporting customers at home, in the community, or adapting to their changing needs, our Lifestyle Attendants provide respectful, tailored assistance to empower individuals to thrive. Key Responsibilities Assist with domestic support tasks, including cleaning, meal preparation, and general household duties. Teach life skills such as bed making, shopping, and other independent living tasks. Mentor and support social skill development for three young adults on the autism spectrum. Facilitate community participation, including trips to local shopping centres and other activities. Provide companionship and effective communication with within the family. Shifts will vary according to family requirements Qualifications and Experience Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and implementing behaviour support strategies. Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills to help build independence and confidence. Understanding of positive behaviour support practices and a commitment to providing customer-focused services. A genuine interest in community participation and fostering social connections. Other Requirements Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle. Flexibility to adapt to the family's changing needs.
