Role Description This contract role is for an on-site Disability Support Worker located in Knoxfield, VIC. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to people with disabilities in our community. Your primary tasks will include assisting clients with daily living activities, providing social and emotional support, and ensuring that clients receive high-quality care and support. Additionally, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the relevant authorities. Qualifications Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent Previous experience in providing disability support services, preferably in a community setting Demonstrated knowledge of person-centered approaches and disability support frameworks Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work flexible and variable hours, including evenings and weekends Current Driver's license and reliable vehicle Current First Aid and CPR certifications Current Australian National Police Check and Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care and support to people with disabilities
